7.2 Volt that goes off correctly, the ARC looks like that on wikipedia. go an estimated 10 amps at 5 volts, the converter is only moderately hot, but the ferrite core heats up well.
There are no rollovers from the core or the primary winding (why would that happen, I read again and again here). You can well 2kV get, probably even more, reducing the primary windings of arc can be pulled to 3 cm.

I've built a diode chain of 3 x FR107 and once FR105, which should hold 3, 6kV. fast-recovery course.
To test this diode I have two LEDs antiparallel and hung the chain of diode in series with the output. The direction with the diodes led the andre bright, weak.
I can not load a condenser at all, there are only arcs. With a 250kOhm, the arcs are resistor in series results in much smaller, but the Kondi is also not really full.
